#DTLA #BROAD ***HOWLIN RAY'S

Dateline: Thursday, September 1, 2016... an afternoon road trip to the already famous BROAD Museum in Downtown Los Angeles (aka, #dtla)... it was so hot we stopped for an iced Americano at the coffee bar next door at the Disney Concert Hall, followed by a late lunch at Ray's Hot Chicken in nearby Chinatown for their famed Hot Nashville Fried Chicken...

There's a lot to do in #DTLA. Park in Chinatown for Five Bucks, walk over to the Courthouse along Broadeway and through the Great Park, up the stairs to the Music Center, turn left and walk past the Disney Concert Hall... stop for an iced beverage and less than one block further is the #BROAD Museum.  Admission is free. Grab your ticket online in advance with your preferred time of visit hopefully.  I also saw their first special exhibition for $12 (Twelve Bucks), namely, "Cindy Sherman: Imitation of Life" and it was well worth seeing.  After seeing the Sherman exhibit and then walking through the permanent exhibit on the third floor, we returned to Chinatown and chose Howlin Ray's Hot Nashville Chicken as our destination for a late lunch... and there are many new small eateries that have established themselves in Chinatown as well... including another favorite, CHEGO.
