Trademarks and Recycled Plastic!...


While browsing Twitter today, I came across a tweet by @healthebay which mentioned that the L.A. Galaxy soccer team recently wore jerseys made from recycled ocean plastic!

Wow!

This is wonderful news, of course, because it brings more attention to the fight against ocean pollution.

It also turns out that the brand of clothing behind this venture is PARLEY®.



A quick search of the Trademark Database at uspto.gov revealed at least one trademark registration for clothing for the mark, PARLEY®, as shown below, associated with this environmental friendly team jersey.
