July 27, 2016: Trademarks In The Sand

Dateline: Wednesday morning, July 27, 2016, on Santa Monica Beach, in Santa Monica, Calif.....

Beer bottle in the sand...  label/trademark of a Wisconsin beer, namely, LEINENKUGEL'S®...

that turned out to be full!...

No day is complete, however, on Santa Monica beach without finding a discarded MODELO® beer can or bottle and today was no exception. This brand continues to lead the field as the most discarded beer that ends up in the sand and not in a nearby trash container...

Things would go even better with Coke if the person who drank this can of Coca-Cola® had put it the trash container ten feet away instead of leaving it in the sand...

We end on a good note with a popular brand of sunglasses, namely, SPY®, that is favored by many people for its UV protection and polarized lenses.  Shown here as worn by a beach lifeguard who raves about this pair of sunglasses for its polarized lenses.  SPY sunglasses are worn by lifeguards up and down the coast of California, including lifeguard members of the CSLSA.
